Elder To ElDEr: herbal Wisdom
This Erasmus+ project promotes active and healthy ageing by engaging people aged 60+ in sharing and preserving their knowledge of traditional herbal remedies and nutritional uses for 15 medicinal plants across three European countries. Participants will help create a memory bank of practices and folklore, which will be scientifically validated and turned into an accessible online resource.

Through workshops and collaboration, the project combines traditional knowledge with modern research, supporting learning, cultural exchange, and sustainable practices while encouraging social connection among older adults across Europe.
Researcher and Content Provider (Freelance: Contract-for-services: Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar (FAA) - Malta & KÜLDÖTT Kft. - Hungary ). My services include:
• Assistance in the compilation of Erasmus funding application, interim & final reports
• Organisation, promotion and delivery of online & in-person workshops
• Coordination of a three-day seminar & activities on Malta for the launch of the project
• Qualitative research on the traditional uses of Maltese medicinal herbs
• Contributing to the development & structuring of online learning materials
• Secondary research on the historical medicinal, culinary, and cultural uses of selected herbs
• Conducting English-language validation and linguistic quality assurance of the final materials
• National dissemination of project outputs
